Police in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida say 65-year-old Rita Loncharich died after being stabbed inside a Barnes & Noble at the Legacy Place shopping center around 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, and 40-year-old Antonio Moore has been arrested and booked on a charge of first-degree premeditated murder. Investigators, who say witnesses saw Moore run from the store, are still searching for a motive as the shopping center increases on-site security and reviews safety protocols.
