Attorneys for Epstein survivors say the Justice Department’s release of case files repeatedly left victims’ names, contact information and even intimate photos exposed—more than 500 instances, they allege—while redacting extensive material about powerful men tied to Epstein, prompting claims of “revictimization” and threats of civil suits. At the same time, internal DOJ and FBI reviews concluded seized photos and videos did not implicate additional individuals, found insufficient evidence to bring further federal charges, and the broader probe has been closed even as millions of pages remain under media review.
