MLB inks rights deals with ESPN, NBC, Netflix
Major League Baseball announced new three‑year media rights agreements with ESPN, NBCUniversal and Netflix on Nov. 20, 2025, totaling roughly $800 million annually. ESPN will pay about $550 million per year for a 30‑game national package and rights to license and distribute MLB.TV’s out‑of‑market package; NBC (via NBC, NBCSN and Peacock) will pay about $200 million annually for all Sunday night games and wild‑card playoff games; Netflix will pay about $50 million annually for exclusive rights to the Home Run Derby. Fox, TBS and Apple TV+ retain their existing MLB packages.

Target to enable shopping via ChatGPT
Target said Wednesday it will let customers browse and buy Target products directly inside the ChatGPT app starting next week, integrating OpenAI’s tool in time for the holiday season. The retailer, which reported same‑store sales down 2.7% and profit off 19% last quarter, is pairing the launch with price cuts and a $1 billion investment plan; Walmart announced a similar OpenAI partnership last month.
