Washington’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and People Cold Case Unit secured its first conviction as Tina Marie Alcorn pleaded guilty to second‑degree murder in the 2016 killing of Indigenous artist George David and was sentenced to more than 13 years in Clallam County Superior Court. The AG’s unit, created in 2023, reopened the case in 2024, conducted additional DNA analysis, and coordinated Alcorn’s June arrest.
