French domestic security services said they arrested two more people Saturday night in connection with an attempted bombing at the Bank of America headquarters in Paris; the initial suspect was detained around 3:30 a.m. Saturday while allegedly placing a device, and a second person who appeared to be filming with a cellphone fled the scene. Police said the detained suspect claimed he had been recruited via Snapchat for about $692 and said he was a minor from Senegal, with authorities working to verify his identity and age, and the National Anti-Terrorist Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into attempted arson/dangerous damage, manufacture/possession/transport of an incendiary or explosive device, and terrorist conspiracy.
