The Trump administration has formally asked the Supreme Court to stay lower‑court injunctions so the Department of Homeland Security can end Temporary Protected Status for Syrian migrants. In its filing the government says this is the third time it has sought such relief, accuses lower courts of “baselessly blocking” DHS decisions, and argues any harms to TPS holders were inherent in the temporary program Congress designed.
