The family of late Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh filed a Dec. 15 court motion seeking to invalidate a purported 2015 will for his roughly $500 million estate, alleging Hsieh’s signature was forged, the document misspells his name, and it names unknown co‑executors. The will was allegedly found by Kashif Singh among his late grandfather Pir Muhammad’s possessions; the family says there’s no evidence Hsieh knew Muhammad, that listed witnesses can’t be located, and a handwriting expert found “numerous unexplained differences” from Hsieh’s known signatures.
