Ro Khanna cited a 2019 FBI interview memo recounting a 2006 call from Donald Trump to then‑Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter and, after reviewing unredacted DOJ files in a secure reading room, publicly read six names he said had been redacted — Leslie Wexner, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Salvatore Nuara, Zurab Mikeladze, Leonic Leonov and Nicola Caputo. The disclosures come as DOJ has released millions of Epstein‑related pages amid sharp criticism over inconsistent and sloppy redactions that exposed victims, DOJ defenses that hundreds of staff are reviewing documents, and a judge’s ruling that lawmakers lack standing to seek court supervision of the department’s compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
