CDC surveillance shows U.S. norovirus test positivity climbed to nearly 14% for the week ending Nov. 15, about 380 positives out of more than 2,700 tests—over double August’s low of 6.5%. The seasonal uptick comes as outbreaks typically peak November–April; recent clusters included a Michigan middle school closure and nearly 100 sickened on a cruise ship.
