Mississippi State Auditor Shad White said on Fox News that welfare fraud is 'incredibly easy' as jury selection is set to start this week in a high‑profile trial alleging at least $77 million in misused federal welfare funds, including charges against former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr. White argued that weak oversight of federal funds funneled through state agencies to third‑party nonprofits has enabled nonprofit leaders and state officials to divert money to homes, cars and other personal benefits, noting seven people have already pleaded guilty and linking the case to broader national concerns, including ongoing fraud probes in Minnesota.
