Police Shootings

Around 10:47 a.m. during a child custody exchange at an Edible Arrangements in a busy Mint Hill shopping center, gunfire left a man dead and two police officers critically wounded, authorities said. Witnesses described injured officers leaving the store as North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation agents arrived to assist, and officials say it’s not yet clear what prompted the initial 911 call.
