A Chicago police officer was killed and a second critically wounded Thursday morning, around 10:50 a.m., in a shooting at Endeavor Health Swedish Hospital on the city's North Side, officials said. Authorities said the suspect fled the hospital and was later taken into custody after a standoff at a nearby home.
