Pakistan Domestic Unrest

Hundreds of protesters, many identified by witnesses as Shiite Muslims angry over reports that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in joint U.S.–Israeli strikes, surged on the U.S. Consulate compound in Karachi, Pakistan, leading to violent clashes with police and paramilitary forces that left at least nine people dead and about 25–30 wounded.
