Reps. Keith Self and Chip Roy of Texas have launched a new 'Sharia Free America Caucus' in the U.S. House aimed at 'protecting Western civilization' and opposing what they describe as the spread of Sharia law in the United States. Backed in the Senate by Sen. Tommy Tuberville, the caucus plans to push legislation including a ban on entry to the U.S. for foreign nationals who 'adhere to Sharia' and a bill to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, even as constitutional protections prevent Sharia from being enforced as government law in the U.S.
