The Justice Department said the U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan and the FBI uncovered and handed over more than one million additional documents potentially related to Jeffrey Epstein, and that rolling releases will continue past the Dec. 19 statutory deadline as lawyers work “around the clock” and may need “a few more weeks” to review and redact material. Recent phased drops have included tens of thousands of pages, thousands of photos and numerous references to high‑profile figures — including multiple Trump mentions and some items DOJ called “untrue and sensationalist” — prompting bipartisan calls for an inspector‑general audit and partisan accusations that releases have been politically selective.
