The Florida Bar says it is not formally investigating Trump-aligned prosecutor Lindsey Halligan, apologizing that a February letter to Campaign for Accountability "erroneously" used the word "investigation" and clarifying it is only monitoring the underlying legal proceedings. Campaign for Accountability executive director Michelle Kuppersmith has questioned how the Bar’s reversal squares with its earlier letter and why no investigation is pending despite three judges indicating Halligan engaged in apparently unethical conduct.
