Louisiana’s Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office says 29‑year‑old Emma Katherine Prejean, a teacher in the St. Charles Parish School System, has been arrested and booked on charges of inappropriate behavior with a juvenile and solicitation of a minor. Investigators say the case began after a child and their family came forward; during a subsequent interview, the minor specifically named Prejean, and detectives say they found corroborating evidence. According to the sheriff’s office, Prejean later admitted in an interview to having inappropriate interactions with the minor, though detailed allegations have not been released.
