On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, the Southern Poverty Law Center filed a federal court motion seeking disclosure of grand jury transcripts in its 11-count fraud indictment in the Middle District of Alabama. SPLC filed a motion in federal court says the panel may have been misled by post-indictment public statements by Justice Department officials.
