A North Texas man identified as Garza was charged in federal court with attempting to provide material support to ISIS after an undercover New York officer who began monitoring his pro‑ISIS online activity in October 2025 says he allegedly brought bomb‑making components to a Dec. 22 meeting, described how to mix them, offered to send an instructional video, sent official ISIS media releases and made small cryptocurrency payments in November and December 2025 believing he was funding ISIS causes. He made his initial federal appearance Dec. 23 and has a combined probable‑cause and detention hearing set for Dec. 30, 2025; cooperating agencies include the FBI Dallas and New York field offices, NYPD, Dallas PD, Midlothian PD and Euless PD, and Attorney General Pamela Bondi said, "ISIS's poisonous ideology must be ripped out root and stem."
