A man opened fire on a METRO bus in Houston on Wednesday, fatally shooting a woman in her mid-20s in the head and wounding another male passenger while apparently targeting two men on board, authorities said. The bus operator stopped and evacuated other passengers as METRO and Houston police launched a manhunt for the gunman, using onboard surveillance video and witness statements to investigate the attack near a busy transit corridor.
