Hispanic and Latino Americans

A new Pew survey finds 68% of Latinos say their group’s situation in the U.S. has worsened, with 76% dissatisfied with the country’s direction and roughly 80% saying Trump’s policies harm Hispanics. The poll also shows 70% of Latinos disapprove of Trump’s job performance (27% approve, 55% strongly disapprove), with approval varying by party and demographics (67% of Latino Republicans approve vs. 92% of Latino Democrats who disapprove; approval higher among those 50+, U.S.-born and men) and having fluctuated in recent months.
