Police say 26-year-old William DeFoor was detained around midnight by Secret Service agents assigned to Vice President J.D. Vance’s Cincinnati Walnut Hills residence after allegedly smashing multiple front windows and an unmarked Secret Service vehicle with a hammer while the home was unoccupied; prosecutors say he also damaged enhanced security assets owned by the U.S. government valued at more than $28,000.
