Cuban national Robyn Argote Brooks allegedly rammed two ICE vehicles in a San Antonio parking lot during a targeted vehicle stop, nearly running over an agent before being pulled from his car and arrested; DHS/ICE released video of the incident, said one agent was treated for neck injuries, and reported Brooks entered the U.S. in 2024 via the CBP One app. DHS/ICE say that arrest and a separate Minnesota case involving Mexican national Tranquilino Sixto‑Anorve are part of a reported surge in vehicular attacks on agents, citing 66 such incidents between Jan. 21, 2025 and Jan. 7, 2026 versus two in the same prior‑year period.
