Mexican authorities executed multiple December search warrants and seized an estimated $40 million in high-end motorcycles believed to belong to fugitive Ryan James Wedding, an Olympian-turned-alleged drug kingpin, the FBI says. The FBI has added Wedding to its Ten Most Wanted list, raised the reward to up to $15 million, and alleges he trafficked tons of cocaine through Colombia and Mexico into the U.S. and Canada, ordered dozens of murders—including an alleged January 2025 restaurant killing of a Colombian witness—and used cryptocurrency to hide proceeds, prompting Director Kash Patel to liken him to "a modern-day iteration of Pablo Escobar" and pledge international cooperation to bring him to justice.
