The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee named a first tranche of 12 "Red to Blue" targets for 2026 — seeking to flip GOP-held seats held by Eli Crane, Juan Ciscomani, Mariannette Miller‑Meeks, Zach Nunn, Bill Huizenga, Chuck Edwards, Rob Bresnahan Jr., Scott Perry, Andy Ogles, Rob Wittman, Jennifer Kiggans and Derrick Van Orden — as Democrats aim to reclaim the GOP's 218–214 House majority. The slate includes DCCC‑backed challengers such as former Rep. Elaine Luria (VA‑02) and former Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez (AZ‑02), and DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene framed the program as opposing "billionaires bankrolling Republicans’ corrupt and divisive machine" while promoting Democrats’ focus on lowering costs.
