Federal prosecutors charged Natalie Greene, 26, a former aide to Rep. Jeff Van Drew (R‑N.J.), with conspiracy to convey false statements and hoaxes and making false statements after authorities say she staged a July 23, 2025 attack in Egg Harbor Township, N.J. The U.S. Attorney’s Office says Greene paid a body‑modification artist to inflict lacerations and used zip ties to bind herself, while messages were written on her body referencing Trump and her then‑employer; she made an initial court appearance Nov. 19.
