Civilian Casualties

Russian strikes on Kyiv overnight killed at least seven people and wounded dozens, damaging residential buildings and energy infrastructure and cutting power in western Kyiv, although Kyiv authorities in another update reported three dead and 37 wounded. The attacks came as talks on a U.S. peace plan continued and a Ukrainian delegation headed to the U.S., while Ukrainian forces reportedly struck southern Russia the same night, killing three and damaging homes.
