Cleveland police have charged 28‑year‑old Aliyah Henderson with two counts of aggravated murder after two young girls were found buried in suitcases; preliminary DNA testing identified the victims as 8‑year‑old Mila Chatman and her 10‑year‑old half‑sister Amor Wilson, whose remains, estimated to have been in the field “some time,” were recovered after a dog walker’s tip and whose cause of death remains under investigation. Henderson was detained following interviews and evidence review, another child was found alive in a searched residence and placed with the Department of Children and Family Services, and Mila’s father says he had been seeking custody for years and had not seen her since 2020.
