Penn State University student groups say a second flyer reading 'Dead ICE Agents Can’t Kill' and depicting the hanging of an ICE officer was discovered Saturday near the HUB‑Robeson Center, a central campus hub, weeks after a similar poster first appeared in late January. In a joint statement titled 'PSU College Republicans and Democrats Condemn Continued ICE Death Threats on Campus,' the College Republicans and College Democrats called the imagery 'deeply disturbing' and denounced 'dangerous and reckless rhetoric calling for violence against our federal law enforcement officers, civil servants, or any of our fellow Americans.' The groups urged a focus on protecting law‑enforcement personnel and maintaining a campus climate where students can debate immigration policy without intimidation. The flyers come amid surging anger over recent ICE‑involved fatal shootings in Minneapolis and a DHS claim of a 1,300% jump in assaults on ICE officers and an 8,000% increase in death threats since Trump returned to office, numbers that are being widely cited online but offered without underlying public data. Penn State previously said University Police and Public Safety were investigating the first flyer, though the school and ICE did not immediately comment on the new incident, adding to concern about escalating anti‑ICE rhetoric on U.S. campuses as the broader national fight over immigration enforcement intensifies.
