A new industry group, the AI Infrastructure Coalition, launched Nov. 19 with a reception near the White House to advocate pro‑AI infrastructure policies and support President Trump’s AI Action Plan. Backed by companies including Google, Microsoft, Meta, ExxonMobil, Digital Realty, Duke Energy, and NextEra, the coalition is led by executive director Brian O. Walsh and co‑chaired by former Sen. Kyrsten Sinema and ex‑Rep. Garret Graves, who frame the effort as key to U.S. competitiveness with China and to easing energy and regulatory hurdles for data centers.
