Blu Zeke Daly, 26, also known as Cullan Zeke Daly of Manchester, New Hampshire, has been charged with one count of attempted murder of a federal officer and one count of assaulting a federal officer with a deadly weapon after he allegedly fired a handgun at a U.S. Border Patrol agent at the closed Pittsburg Port of Entry; the agent returned fire, striking Daly, and was uninjured while Daly is hospitalized under guard. The FBI is leading the investigation with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Hampshire prosecuting, and each count carries a statutory maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
