Documents released by Rep. Jim Jordan show the Justice Department subpoenaed his phone toll records covering about two and a half years. The Verizon subpoena reportedly sought call-detail records plus subscriber names, addresses and payment information and included a secrecy (gag) order; Verizon said it had "uncovered new information" about Jordan and shared it with him, and lawmakers are weighing legislation to bar similar actions.
