Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced a DOT civility campaign urging air passengers to "dress with some respect" — no pajamas or slippers — to thank crews and help others with overhead bins, accompanied by a 90‑second video set to "Come Fly With Me" that offers specific traveler prompts. The initiative comes as the FAA reports about 13,800 unruly‑passenger incidents since 2021 (nearly 2,000 in 2023 and roughly a 400% increase in in‑flight outbursts since 2019) and ahead of what the agency and AAA expect to be the busiest Thanksgiving air travel in 15 years, with about 6 million U.S. flyers.
