The Democratic National Committee set the 2028 convention for Aug. 7–10, 2028 and narrowed its host‑city finalists to Boston, Denver, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Chicago. The DNC also confirmed it has dropped earlier plans to hold a midterm‑year national convention in 2026.
