Ex-Prince Andrew Seeks To Void Epstein-Linked Search Warrants

Ex-Prince Andrew has asked the U.K. High Court to void February search warrants tied to Jeffrey Epstein, with a private hearing set for Oct. 8 in London.[1]

If the warrants are voided, prosecutors could be barred from using any material seized during the February searches.[1]

The warrants were issued by a Central Criminal Court judge on Feb. 18 for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's homes at Windsor and Sandringham.[1] Andrew was arrested on Feb. 19, his 66th birthday, on suspicion of misconduct in public office and was released after questioning.[1]

Thames Valley Police opened the probe after U.S. files on Jeffrey Epstein were released in January 2026.[1] Those files included a November 2010 email in which Andrew appeared to share trip reports with Epstein, a detail that helped trigger the searches.[1]

His lawyers have applied for a judicial review asking the High Court to quash the warrants, with the private hearing set for Oct. 8.[1]
