Alfalfa Sprouts Recalled After E. Coli, Salmonella Sicken 55 People

Everything Sprouts voluntarily recalled certain lots of alfalfa sprouts supplied beginning May 27 to distributors and retailers in Minnesota and Wisconsin under the Everything Sprouts and Calco brands.[1] The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says at least 55 people fell ill and four were hospitalized between May 31 and August 8.[1] Minnesota and Wisconsin have reported the largest numbers of cases so far.[1]
