Dreyer's Recalls Five Outshine Fruit Bar Flavors Over Glass Risk

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream on August 16 recalled five Outshine Fruit Bar flavors sold in six-count boxes after warning the bars may contain pieces of glass.[1]

The recall covers 2.5-ounce strawberry, watermelon, grape, tangerine and black cherry bars, the company said.[1]

Dreyer's identified affected packages by specific UPCs and batch codes and said consumers should check their boxes before eating them.[1]

On August 16, the company announced the action over possible glass contamination and said there have been no reports of injuries or illnesses linked to the recalled bars.[1]
