Woman And Infant Die After Small Boat Overturns Near Liberty Island
A 27-year-old woman and a five-month-old baby died after a small vessel overturned in New York Harbor near Liberty Island around 10:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026.[1]
