Heavy Rains Flood South Texas As Tornado Touches Down In San Antonio

A tornado touched down in northwestern San Antonio near Interstate 10 on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and officials reported no injuries.[1]

Uvalde County had collected as much as 16 inches of rain, forcing at least two dozen water rescues, officials said.[1] Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens rescued nine people from floodwaters on Tuesday.[1] Governor Greg Abbott issued disaster declarations for dozens of affected counties as crews responded to flooding.[1]
