Israeli Strikes Kill At Least 12 In Gaza Despite Ceasefire

Israeli strikes killed at least 12 people across Gaza on July 14 and July 15, including six police officers in Jabaliya and civilians in central Gaza, Khan Younis and near Rafah.[1]

Hospital officials said an Israeli airstrike hit a police station in the Jabaliya refugee camp, killing a woman and six police officers.[1] Al Aqsa Hospital said three members of a family were killed in an Israeli strike in central Gaza.[1] Nasser Hospital officials said a man was killed in a bombing of a tent camp in Khan Younis, and a child was shot dead by Israeli forces near Rafah.[1] The Israeli military said four of the slain Jabaliya officers were Hamas militants but offered no evidence of their involvement in planning or carrying out attacks.[1]

An October ceasefire intended to end a two-year war between Israel and Hamas has been in place, but Gaza's Health Ministry reports at least 1,123 people have been killed in Gaza since that agreement.[1] The UN human rights office has condemned repeated Israeli attacks on Gaza police in 2026, warning of a pattern of failing to distinguish police from fighters.[1]
