Man arrested after impersonating agent outside Lakeville mosque

A man who claimed to be a military officer and later a federal agent was arrested shortly before noon Friday outside Lakeville Masjid at 8670 210th Street West in Lakeville.[1]

He provided no proof of his claims and was taken into custody, police said.[1] Officers recovered a pocketknife, a box cutter and suspected illicit narcotics at the scene.[1] There is currently no evidence the mosque was targeted for religious reasons.[1] He was booked into Dakota County Jail on charges tied to the incident.[1]
