Four arrested after Bloomington teen shooting

Four people were arrested in connection with a May 4 shooting that wounded two Bloomington teenagers on the 7900 block of Bloomington Avenue South.[1]

The victims are a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy who were hospitalized with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.[1] Officers arrested four suspects, ages 18 to 19 and from Minneapolis, St. Paul and Bloomington, between May 6 and May 8.[1] They face probable-cause allegations of second-degree assault and felony threats of violence, and formal charges are pending.[1]

Bloomington police say the people involved knew one another and that the shooting is not believed to be random.[1]
