Serious crash closes Hwy 52 near Vermillion
A crash between a semi-truck and a pickup at 6:56 a.m. Wednesday on Hwy 52 near 220th Street in Vermillion Township left the pickup driver with life-threatening injuries.
FOX 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul reported the collision closed Hwy 52 for several hours before it reopened.
The Minnesota State Patrol said the pickup drifted into a J-turn lane and struck the semi's trailer. The pickup driver was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, and officials did not immediately say why the vehicle crossed into the lane.
