Woman critical after St. Paul crosswalk crash
St. Paul police say a 22-year-old driver turning left from Dale Street onto Summit Avenue struck a 75-year-old woman and her 74-year-old husband as they crossed in the crosswalk on Monday, Nov. 24. The woman was hospitalized in critical condition and the man suffered minor injuries; the driver remained at the scene and is preliminarily not suspected of impairment as the investigation continues.
