Eagan HSI agent pleads to child-sex videos
Timothy Ryan Gregg, 52, a Homeland Security Investigations special agent from Eagan and FBI task force member, pleaded guilty Oct. 30 in U.S. District Court in Minneapolis to transporting visual depictions of a minor engaging in sexual conduct after admitting he recorded and sent at least 10 sexual images/videos with a 17-year-old. Gregg learned the teen’s true age via a law-enforcement database but continued meeting her at hotels he booked—often on Sundays—using his official ICE/HS email; he remains jailed in Sherburne County as sentencing is pending under guidelines of 14 to 17.5 years.
