Lakeland sets open house on City Hall plan
Lakeland will hold a Nov. 3, 2025 open house (5–7 p.m., 690 Quinnell Ave. N.) to gather input on two council‑chamber designs for a proposed new City Hall at 84 St. Croix Trail S. The city sent a non‑binding letter of intent on Oct. 1 to purchase the 1,860‑sq‑ft Telus building for an appraised $525,000 as officials cite severe issues at the 1868 current hall, including structural problems, mold, water infiltration, radon, and accessibility shortcomings.
