A report prepared by engineering consulting firm Marshall Miller & Associates for Alpha Metallurgical Resources stated that the Rolling Thunder coal seam runs along and below the drainage of TwentyMile Creek and concluded there were no significant hydrologic concerns about further mining in the extensively mined property.
